The Wanted regresa a México

El grupo británico – irlandés formado por Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker y Nathan Sykes, regresa a México este 6 de diciembre al Pepsi Center WTC para presentar su mas reciente álbum Word Of Mouth. El álbum salió a la venta el 4 de noviembre de 2013 con una gran aceptación.

The Wanted en el 2013 tuvieron la oportunidad de hacer su propio reality show llamado The Wanted Life por el canal E!.

Será la segunda vez que la agrupación pise tierras mexicanas ya que el año pasado se presentaron en el Foro Sol con su álbum Battleground; uno de los éxitos de este álbum fue Glad You Came, que se mantuvo como número uno de la lista en Reino Unido durante dos semanas, y en Irlanda durante cinco.

Con el sencillo Chasing the Sun consiguieron un éxito internacional. Participaron en la banda sonora de la película Ice Age: Continental Drift.

En una entrevista el integrante Siva habló sobre la presentación que se va hacer el próximo sábado aquí en México:

-We hear you’re all off to Mexico for a performance this week. Are you excited? What’s in store for fans?

-Oh my God! Like literally, I am just so excited. I love Mexico! We’re on tour there and we’re going to Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. We just love bringing our music to all the fans in Mexico because we don’t visit often. We visited, I think like two times in the last year maybe? But that’s really not enough for our Mexican fans. We thought, we have to come and at least show them the songs from the last album that we never got to show them and show our respect to the fans, give them a good time on stage, and talk to all the fans and tell them we love them, and talk to all our friends in Mexico. We’ve got a lot of people working in publicity and a lot of friends there so we thought hey, why not? We love Mexico and Mexico loves us. Why not?

La agrupación en enero de 2014 publicó una separación momentánea pero ahora regresa a México con todas las ganas del mundo y a seguir con su musica; y por qué no, a complacer a las fans mexicanas que siempre los están apoyando con todo lo que hagan en su carrera.
